My Journey

I didn’t set out to build a single career or follow a linear path.

My work emerged from lived experience — across worlds that don’t usually sit next to each other, yet deeply inform one another.

A Life Across Worlds

I grew up in the Black Forest — surrounded by mountains, trees, and a childhood marked by safety and freedom. I knew early on that this was a privilege.

Music became my first teacher. I remember lying on my bed, listening to Dangerous by Michael Jackson, painting peace signs, and asking myself:
Why do some children not live as freely as I do? What can I do to change that?

That question never left me.

From Corporate to
Conscious Leadership

Years later, I found myself in Los Angeles on the set of a multi-million-euro campaign. Almost 100 million euros were about to be spent convincing people of a narrative I no longer believed in.

At the same time, I was struggling to fund a small initiative advocating for children’s rights.

Something in me broke open.

This is not right. This is not why I’m here.

I left the advertising world to create work that felt real — work that mattered.

Impact Across Systems

Since then, I’ve co-founded, supported, or guided initiatives that have impacted millions of lives — spanning sustainability, education, social entrepreneurship, and global development.

Impact Spotlight: Utopia.de

Utopia.de pioneered sustainability as a mainstream movement in Germany — making conscious living practical, accessible, and inspiring.

This work taught me that change scales when it feels human, doable, and rooted in everyday life.

Impact Spotlight: Viva con Agua

What began as a grassroots initiative grew into a global ecosystem bringing clean drinking water to millions.

Through music, art, and sport, we learned that impact grows fastest when it is rooted in joy and community.

Over 15 years, this work reached more than 300,000 young people across 70 countries — reinforcing my belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for systemic change.

Supporting over 50 social startups showed me how innovation thrives when passion meets structure and support.

Roots, Spirit, and Transformation

When I need clarity, I return to the Black Forest.

My spiritual home, however, is Kaua‘i — a place that reminded me that life is not random, but responsive when we listen.

South Africa later became another anchor — a place of community, chosen family, and deep resonance.

Lessons from the Path

My life has been a constant dance between freedom and responsibility.

I’ve learned to sit with uncertainty — not as an enemy, but as a signal. This is what led me into deep emotional and spiritual integration work, including The Spiral, which fundamentally changed how I understand healing and agency.

Why I Do This Work

I’m not interested in being the main character.
I’m interested in holding space where others can step into their own truth.

This is why I write, teach, mentor, and build institutions — not to tell people who to be, but to support them in becoming who they already are.

You don’t need to become someone else.
You need space to become who you already are.
